HI! MY NAME IS SAYID

I'm a 7 year old registered Arabian. I haven't been handled too much since I was a baby and Fran & Steve and a lot of volunteers have worked with me, but, the nature of the problem is that I'm an Arabian and I'm special and I just want to do what I want to do…when I want to!

I love to be groomed and have my back scratched, but I'm very selective when it comes to who picks my hooves…Fran, Steve and my farrier are okay and a few of the volunteers, depending on my mood. I had a bad experience with a saddle and can't say that I like them much. I'll let you put one on me but I'm thinking it's still a "no" on anyone climbing into that seat!

My nickname is Houdini because I can open all the stall gates, from the outside or the inside, and let any of the horses I like to come out and play with me. If you ask me if I'm a good boy, I'll nod my head "yes" and wait patiently for a treat!

With proper training and a lot of patience, I'll make a faithful companion for the right person. In the mean time, I'm Fran's good boy!
