My name was Rabbit. I was Ron's horse and "head honcho" here at J.A.M.E.S. I was a jumper when I was young and could clear a 6' pole with ease. When I retired from jumping, Ron bought me as a trail horse and he was my best friend for 15 years. I was 31 years young when I was diagnosed with cancer and before I started to suffer, Fran and Dr. Norm decided I deserved a dignified parting. On the day I said good-bye, friends and family brought me my favorite things - grapes, watermelon and a six pack of Coors Lite - and I drank them all!
It was especially hard for Fran to say good-bye but she knew I would find my friend Ron at the Rainbow Bridge and that we would be together again. Ginger is here too - still just as bossy as she ever was - and we're happy!
