HI! MY NAME IS CHARLIE
I'm a 12 year old Tennessee Walker gelding. My owner couldn't ride me anymore and decided to find me a home where I could be around other horses.
I have a condition called "Wobbler Syndrome". This condition is
caused by a defect in the vertebrae of my neck and makes me walk a little funny. It's a chronic ailment that is progressive and makes me dangerous to ride because I can't support the weight of a saddle and rider. Dr. Norm says it's okay for me to take small children for a bareback ride as long as someone leads me to make sure I stay at a nice, slow walk.
My confirmation isn't the greatest, my feet turn outward instead of pointing forward and I have a very narrow chest. Despite my physical shortcomings, I have a great looking color combination, I'm friendly and curious and have a good disposition – what more could you ask for?!
I'd make a good companion for another horse, but for now, I'm quite happy and content to be exactly where I am!
