HI! MY NAME IS BOURBON

I'm a 15 year old Standardbred gelding. My owner just kind of left me where I was being boarded and I needed to find a new home. My friend Adam, who was taking care of me, called Fran and Steve and arrangements were made for me to come and live at JAMES.

I could use a few more pounds so Steve is giving me a little extra feed and my feet need a little attention but other than that I'm doing okay, and if I do say so myself, I really am a good lookin' boy! I'm very attentive and curious. I love kids and I get along with all my stallmates.

I can't be ridden because I have EPM which is a neurological problem that affects my spine, but I would make a good companion for a horse that needs a buddy.

I'm happy and content just knowing I have a forever home here at JAMES.
